"How is that my business?" Asked Donald. " You need to see her Donald, she is causing stirs in class come lets go" Steve shouted now sweating profusely
.. He dragged Donald to class passage then allowed him to walk on his own. " I will go first after 5minutes you can enter" Steve said to him and walked into the class. Like Steve instructed he came in after 5 minutes with his eyes searching all over the classroom and his eyes met with Ciara's eyes, He felt like something struck him on the head... He regained himself and walked up to the most beautiful girl he has ever seen who sat on his desk and said "hello,you are new here". "Yes" she answered. "Alright,this is my desk but since you are new here.. You can have it.... I will be back". "Thanks" She said with a little smile. Donald signaled his friend Steve and they left the classroom.. And met with Mr.Eric who is sees about students welfare and requested for a new desk which was granted to them.. They carried it to the class and soon as they entered giggling and whispering follows. "Doing it for the new girl" Cherry said mockingly and laughter follows.. But was ignored by Donald and they arranged the desk to be same grid. "Can you place it near yours" She requested. Donald did has she requested and they all sat down.
Mrs. Tessy entered and Donald heart fainted immediately. "I thought her class should have been over by now he said in his mind". " Sorry my students I was at the meeting with the school head" She apologized. And she started teaching, Donald was feeling nervous and very unrested, his heart nearly seized when he heard his name. "Donald can you explain Earthquake as natural disaster for us?" Mrs. Tessy asked him.. Donald gazed at her and boldly said "I cannot ma". "You are very pathetic Mr. Donald" She finally said after a long gaze at him.. And the class went wild in laughter..." You can never explain anything even your himself which even more piteous" . Donald eyes was clouded with tears he tried to hold and hid them from his mates but one rolled down on his desk and Ciara noticed and she got up " Let me help him ma" she requested. She was given a go ahead and she answered it and an applaud followed it.. She ended up trying to calm Donald down after the class but he tried to avoid her and left the class. After the school hour he rushed home on his own " am not going back to this school anymore" he said to himself.
Three days nobody saw Donald in school,Ciara asked for his house address from Steve which she got and in the evening Donald received knock on their door. His sister rushed to answer the knock having her mother in mind only to see a good looking girl at the door in a blue gown on the doorway. "Is Donald in?" She asked. " Yes, come in and who and you? " Rose asked. " His mate" she answered and sat down. "Donald! Your mate is looking for you" Rose shouted... Thinking it might be Steve, Donald rushed out and met a surprise. "Hi Donald" she said to broke the silence. "Helo Ciara, why are you here ?" He asked reluctantly. "Just here to see you, I know you had a hard time in school" . Donald gazed at her for a while and nodded. "Donald I checked your books, your scores are very well poor but when I checked your diary it was all different were you not the one that wrote them?" She asked. "I did but......but...." He stammered and tears have already taking over his eyes and he allowed them to roll down freely.. "People always say my write-ups are brilliant but what I cannot explain is why I could not attest same in school, all I got are tens of insults, it is so sad Ciara that I cannot do anything about it" he finally said..... Ciara came close to him and wiped the remaining tears in his eyes.. " I can help you Donald" she said with a smile. And hugged him.." I want to go now can we meet at the town library tomorrow?" She asked... "Yes, sure" he answered and escorted her to the door and watched her took a cab until she disappeared. "What a pity a girl is going to help him out, Donald you are full of shit" he thoughts to himself laying on his bed.
But like every other person he was overwhelmed with happiness not only that Ciara visited him, she hugged him, he smiled to himself and immediately jumped up and rush out to his friend's house.....................
